Filling
2 pears, cored & chopped
2 tbs. brown sugar
1 tbs. melted butter
2 tbs. lemon juice
1 tsp. lemon peel grated
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Loaf
1 1/4 lb. ground smoked
ham
1 small onion minced
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
2 eggs
2 tbs. chopped parsley
1 tbs. prepared mustard
Pastry
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup butter
1/3 ounce pkg cream cheese

Into medium bowl measure
flour, butter, & cream cheese. Knead mixture until well
blended. On lightly floured surface with floured rolling pin,
roll pastry to about 1/8" thickness. Line loaf pan with
pastry lapping out of the sides of the pan.
Add pear mixture, then ham mixture pressing
down. Fold pastry edges over loaf & turn out on baking
pan with low sides. Brush with egg white & decorate with
pastry scraps if desired.
Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 min. or until
golden brown.
Serve hot or chill and slice for lunches.
Great to take on a picnic.
